End spousal maintenance payments after divorce

Background

Simplify the divorce laws even further. No fault divorce = split assets equally. No more spousal payments. Divorce should be end of financial commitment to the ex-spouse. We believe it is completely unfair for one person to keep paying another even at end of divorce.

Additional details

We believe that since the laws around divorce have been simplified e.g. no-fault divorce in 2022 spousal maintenance should also be abolished completely. We think it predominantly benefits female partners. This should not be allowed in today's day and age of gender equality.
