Exempt all female hygiene products from tax

Background

We think it's unfair that there can be a price difference between male and female hygiene products. Females often have to pay more for hygiene products because they are targeted towards women with pink and purple packaging. We therefore call on the Government to exempt such products from tax.

Additional details

Gender-based pricing, also known as “pink tax,” is an upcharge on products traditionally intended for women which have only cosmetic differences from comparable products traditionally intended for men.
