Fund security guards and CCTV on school premises & introduce new protocols

Background

We believe there has been a rise in threats to schools and we ask the Government to implement security measures to protect our children. We urge the Government to fund security guards and CCTV on all school premises, and require routine lockdown protocols in all schools.

Additional details

We are concerned about the number of threats made towards schools and the rise in knife crime and incidents on and around school premises. Some schools are close to immigration hotels where protesters may cause disturbances and the need for police presence is required regularly. We are asking as parents who send our children into educational settings that our concerns are taken seriously, and the safety of our children prioritised.
