Funding for ASD and ADHD assessments for children within 18 months of referral

Background

We think funding should be provided so children have ASD (Autism) and ADHD assessments completed within 18 months from initial referral.

Additional details

We think children are struggling massively whilst waiting for Autism and ADHD assessments, it may affect their childhood, their family life, their school and social life. Their parents and siblings may also be massively affected as the wait for these assessments can take years. We think assessing as early as possible could either rule out or diagnose these conditions, much to the relief of these families and help gain essential support for these struggling children.
