Increase child maintenance payments

Background

We want the government to increase child maintenance payments. The cost of living has dramatically increased and we are concerned that parents are feeling the pressure, especially single parents.

Additional details

Minimal or no contact with one parent can mean that childcare and the other expenses of raising a child fall on the other parent. Sometimes this is with a quite small financial contribution from the non-resident parent. We are concerned that children are going without because of this.
