Inform patients if vaccine was developed from aborted human foetus cell lines

Background

Call on the UK Government to ensure that information leaflets relating to vaccines state whether they were developed using cell lines originating from aborted human fetuses so that patients can make an informed decision, based on their conscience, whether or not to accept these vaccines.

The UK Government's policies relating to vaccination should comply with the European Convention on Human Rights. This includes the principle of making free and informed decisions whether to accept certain vaccines expressed in: - The right to respect for privacy and family life (Article 8) , - The right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion (Article 9), - The right to freedom of expression, which includes the right to hold opinions and to receive information (Article 10).
