Introduce 20% maximum commission rate for private hire (ride hailing companies)

Background

To enable the drivers are paid reasonably, we think the commission kept by the ride hailing companies should be legally fixed to a maximum of 20%. We think this will mean that the competition between the companies can be maintained and the drivers will be paid fairly.

Additional details

We think that some ride hailing companies take too much profit and pay their drivers very little.
