Introduce mandatory national extreme-weather safety standards for delivery workers, including severe-weather risk assessments, temperature monitoring inside delivery vehicles, reduced workloads and clear rules to modify or suspend outdoor deliveries when conditions become unsafe.

Additional details

Delivery workers spend hours outdoors in extreme weather, often using vans without effective air conditioning. Currently protections can vary between workplaces. We want one clear national standard that measures actual working conditions, including temperatures inside vans, and puts safety before delivery targets.
