Introduce mandatory life sentences for child sex offences

Background

I would like harsher sentencing introduced for what are the worst of all crimes in my opinion. I feel that child sex offenders are treated with leniency and this feels to me to be a grave injustice.

Additional details

I personally feel that sexual crimes against children are the most serious of all. I believe that Britain has a rich tradition of justice and leading the world in ethical matters. I suggest that this would lead the world in showing there can be absolutely no tolerance for the abuse of children.
