Make CCTV in taxis (including private hire taxis) mandatory nationwide

Background

Given what we feel are increasing risks in society, particularly for women, we believe the Government should prioritise public safety. We want all taxis, including private hire vehicles, to be required by law to have operational CCTV.

Additional details

Drivers who refuse to comply with this nationwide law should face a ban from operating.
