Background

We want the Government to mandate employers to conduct impact assessments on the effect of AI on jobs, establish a national AI-worker transition fund, guarantee income support for displaced workers & lower the signature threshold for A parliamentary debate on petitions on job-displacing technologies

Additional details

Unemployment is rising, and we think workers are being replaced by AI without safeguards. We believe Job losses are eroding livelihoods and social stability. We think current protections are inadequate. We need urgent action to support displaced workers, regulate corporate AI deployment, and defend the dignity of work.
