Mandate antenatal discussion of low-dose aspirin in pregnancy across NHS

Background

I am asking the Government to mandate maternity services routinely discuss aspirin with pregnant women so they can make informed choices with their healthcare providers. This should not be only discussed after loss and should be available to all parents expecting babies regardless.

Additional details

My son Noah died at 40 weeks in pregnancy. His post-mortem showed he was healthy, but that my placenta was not working, reducing the oxygen reaching him. After losing Noah, I learned that low-dose aspirin can be used in pregnancy to help improve placental blood flow and reduce the risk of complications such as pre-eclampsia and foetal growth restriction. Aspirin was never discussed with me during my pregnancy, I was not aware it was something that could even be considered until after my son died.
