Make the provision of a fridge for breastmilk storage and a private room for expressing or breastfeeding (bf) any age child mandatory for all workplaces. Make a bf policy a requirement in every workplace & require a bf risk assessments as part of health and safety workplace legislation.

Research suggests that supporting breastfeeding parents reduces absenteeism, boosts workplace morale & employee retention, there are also wider benefits from a public health perspective for parent, child & society.
