Objection to the Bank of England removing UK historical people from UK currency

Background

The Bank of England's decision to replace historic UK people of achievement on bank notes is to lessen recognition of the UK's global historic contribution of democracy, academic, literary, scientific, medical achievements. HM Government is requested to intervene and instruct the BoE to cease.
