Only allow a change of prime minister through a general election

Pass a law to ensure that if a Prime Minister leaves office a new general election is held.

Additional details

I think otherwise Prime Ministers don't have a voters' mandate and may not follow the manifesto. To ensure the will of the people is followed in a democratic fashion.
