Regulate funeral directors

I would like the UK Parliament to regulate funeral directors.

Additional details

The treatment my mother received after her passing was deeply distressing, and has left me traumatised. I believe there is an urgent need for regulation in this sector. I believe funeral directors play a crucial role in our society, providing services that are essential during one of life's most challenging times. However, there is currently no mandatory regulation or oversight for these professionals
