Require an expert to examine a pet before seizure under the Dangerous Dogs Act

Background

Stop the police taking family pets without an expert there to examine the pet. I think this causes unnecessary stress for all involved and I believe the condition a lot of these animals get returned in is disgusting.

Additional details

I want people’s treasured pets to be examined by an expert at the address, rather than being taken away for weeks or even months to examine the pet. I think an expert could easily do all measurements at the address, I believe this will also save tax payers money by having less dogs in kennels.
