Require & fund healthcare services prior to building housing developments

Background

We believe combined cumulative impacts of housing developments on healthcare services are not being adequately assessed despite requirements under the NPPF. We believe infrastructure improvements must precede new housing developments, and developers should be mandated to pay.

Additional details

Many GP surgeries are unable to expand their premises to meet demand, whilst new housing is being developed without always allocating space for additional facilities. This needs to be mandated.
