Require people who run over cats to stop and to report it, and impose fine

Background

We call on the Government to introduce a fine for people who run over cats as Owners have to pay vet bill no fault of their own. We think it’s not right, and think a fine should be introduced even if it’s only a £50 fine

Additional details

We believe that when someone hits a cat, they should get fined, because at the end of day it’s someone’s pet. I’m doing this petition because my baby got run over and left in a bush for a nearly a week. I did not know he was gone I thought he was still missing.
