Reverse the changes to the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund

Background

I urge the Government to reinstate the previous funding limit of £5,000 plus £2,500 for special assessments.

Additional details

Around 3,000 children in England are placed in adoptive families each year. Many share a childhood overshadowed by trauma, loss and disruption and the need for lifelong support is very common. These children have the same potential, and we think deserve the same chance to thrive, as every other child.
