Scrap the policy to ban the sale of new Petrol and Diesel Cars from 2030

Background

We believe the Government's policy of banning the sale of new petrol & diesel cars after 2030 in favour of EVs is totally unworkable. We are unclear about how people who park their cars on the street & people who live in high rise flats will be able to charge their EVs with leads running everywhere

Additional details

There is the EV range issue and the massive challenge of installing the necessary charging infrastructure. We are unclear as to what will happen at motorway service stations? We can’t see how there will be enough space for all the necessary charging points. People will be queuing up to charge their EV.
