Background

The government should reintroduce a link between LHA and rent cost increases, and confirm that LHA will be unfrozen and uprated by this mechanism each year, for the foreseeable future.

We believe uprating LHA is justifiable on its own terms, to help people meet the rising cost of renting privately.
