To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, whether the Government has instructed that Access to Work criteria should be applied more strictly.

Sir Stephen TimmsThere has been no change to Access to Work policy. The published guidance remains the same and continues to be applied, though as a part of the continuous improvement of the service there has been a focus on ensuring consistency in decision-making.
