To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what estimate he has made of the number of people waiting for a decision on their Access to Work application.

Sir Stephen TimmsAs of 17 February 2026, the applications backlog is at 66,699. We recognise the importance of clearing the backlog, which is why last year we increased the number of staff working in this area by 29% and we have continued to streamline delivery practices....
