To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, if she will make it her policy to allow almshouses to access housing-related grants.

Matthew PennycookAlmshouse charities can bid for grant funding from the Affordable Homes Programme if they are registered social housing providers, subject to oversight by the Regulator of Social Housing. 264 out of 1,600 almshouses charities have already taken this step.
