To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how much funding his Department provided for the operation of the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme in each year since 2019.

Although an estimate is made at the beginning of each year of the likely expenditure on Armed Forces Compensation Scheme Payments, there is no annual cap or allocation of funding. The table below shows the total Armed Forces Compensation Scheme Expenditure by financial year 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2023.
