To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how the defence budget is allocated across all (a) Regular and (b) Reserve Infantry Battalions.
Answer
Luke PollardRegular and Reserve Infantry Battalions produce a costed programme as part of the Annual Budget Cycle. These programmes are based on their planned and prioritised commitments, as agreed in the Army Command Plan, and budgets are allocated accordingly.
