To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how much her department has recovered from asylum hotel providers in excess profits in each year since the creation of the contract, broken down by provider.

Alex NorrisSince the creation of the Asylum Accommodation and Support Contracts the Home Office has recovered £45.9m in excess profits.It is not possible to give a yearly breakdown of the amounts. This breakdown covers the period to August 2024.
