To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what recent discussions she has had with Cabinet colleagues on the potential merits of using the investment reserve to increase the pensions of members of the British Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme.

James MurrayThe Government is considering the proposals put forward by the trustees regarding the investment reserve transfer to British Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme members. The Government will reach a decision as soon as possible this year.
