To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what discussions she has had with the her US counterparts on the application for the proposed Chinese embassy in London.

Seema MalhotraThe US is our closest ally, and we liaise closely with them on a wide range of issues.A final decision on the proposed embassy will be made by the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities, and Local Government in their independent, quasi-judicial role.
