To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether a heritage impact assessment has been conducted on proposals to move the Chinese Embassy to the former Royal Mint building.

Matthew PennycookAn appointed Inspector held a public inquiry which heard a range of evidence for and against the proposals in question. As this case will come before ministers in MHCLG to determine, it would not be appropriate to comment further.
