To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what guidance he has issued to local authorities on access to empty homes council tax data held by local billing authorities.

Alison McGovernThe government expects precepting and billing authorities to work constructively and share data where this is appropriate. The government has not issued guidance to local authorities on accessing this information.
