To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether she has plans for a comprehensive financial services regulatory regime for cryptoassets in the UK.

Emma ReynoldsOn 21 November 2024, the Government confirmed that it will proceed with creating a new financial services regulatory regime for cryptoassets. This regime will be in line with the proposals published by HM Treasury in October 2023.
