To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many miles of the national cycle network are permissive routes.

Lilian GreenwoodIn England, approximately 2,720 miles of the National Cycling Network is on a permissive right of way. Of this, over 50% is on land owned by a Local Authority or other public body.
