To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to page 19 of the Defence Investment Plan, published on 30 June 2026, what is his planned timetable for publishing a clear definition of a British company.

Luke PollardThe Ministry of Defence recognises the importance of a clear and consistent definition of a British company. Work is underway, supported by industry, to achieve this and further details will be published in due course.
