To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps his Department plans to take to improve diabetes care in the Major Conditions Strategy.

Helen WhatelyAction on diabetes will be included in the Major Conditions Strategy as it is an important risk factor for cardiovascular disease. The strategy will aim to improve care and health outcomes for those living with multiple conditions and an increasingly complex set of needs.
