To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether any marine areas will be covered within the lease of the base on Diego Garcia.

Stephen DoughtyUnder the agreement the UK will continue to have full control over, and unrestricted access to, Diego Garcia, including the waters and airspace. This will ensure the long term secure and effective operation of the base well into the next century.
