To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment she has made of the potential impact of foreign drivers holding licences from countries with lower testing standards than the UK on road safety.

Simon LightwoodMy department has not made an assessment of the impact of foreign drivers holding licences from countries with lower testing standards than the UK. All drivers on GB roads, are expected to follow the rules and regulations as set out in the Highway Code.
