To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 4 September to Question 74024 on Electric Vehicles: Finance, what is the timeframe for the Government's spend of £4.5 billion.

Keir MatherThe expected timeframe for Government to spend the total £4.5 billion is between the years 2025 - 2035. However, over £2 billion of this total will be spent before the end of financial year 2029/30.
