To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether her Department has made an assessment of the potential merits of mandating parking bays for electric vehicles through traffic regulation orders.

Lilian GreenwoodTraffic regulation orders (TRO) can already be used to designate and enforce electric vehicle only, on-street parking bays. Their use is at the discretion of the local traffic authority.
