To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what engine is used as the test demonstrator for the Global Combat Air Programme.

Luke PollardThe Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) demonstrator is planned to use EJ200 engines from the Eurofighter Typhoon, giving a reliable engine for testing the aircraft’s design. A brand-new engine will power the final production aircraft.
