To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what estimate her Department has made of the number of holiday lets in the West of England.

Stephanie PeacockDCMS is developing a registration scheme to collect data on short-term lets across England. The Scheme, which is launching in 2026, will give the Government and local authorities valuable insights on the number of short-term lets in local areas.
