To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, if she will take steps to allow local authorities to levy (a) hotel and (b) tourist taxes.

James MurrayThe Government keeps all taxes under review and welcomes representations to help inform future decisions on tax policy. Any decisions on future tax policy will be announced by the Chancellor at a fiscal event.
