To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether his Department is taking steps to support the International Fund for Israeli-Palestinian Peace.
Answer
The UK Government shares the objective of increasing understanding and dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians. In support of this, we continue to fund peacebuilding projects focused on Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. UK officials also remain in close contact with the US government regarding the Middle East Partnership for Peace Act.
