To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what assessment his Department has made of the potential impact of Palestinian Authority policies on levels of violence against Israelis and Jews.
Answer
We continue to urge the Palestinian Authority to adhere to non-violent principles and to refrain from policies that have the potential to promote violence. We have been clear that incitement to hatred or violence is unacceptable. We continue to raise our concerns about potentially inciteful content in Palestinian textbooks with the Palestinian Authority at the highest level.
