To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if she will include the Lakes Line Passing Loop in the next Rail Network Enhancements Pipeline.

Simon LightwoodWe believe the Local Transport Authority can best determine whether this project meets their local needs. The Department will continue to support development work on this scheme, should local budgets be prioritised.
