To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what assessment his Department has made of the potential merits of the four day week trial taking place in some local authorities.

Alison McGovernThis Government is committed to working in partnership with local authorities and will not micromanage their day-today running. However, it is Government’s view that local authorities should not be offering full time pay for part time work.
