To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, if she will make it a requirement for all documents published by her Department to be written in plain English.

Alex NorrisWhile there is no legal requirement for government documents to be published in plain English, the department always asks teams to use clear, understandable language in its publications.
