To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if she will make an assessment of the potential merits of (a) collating and (b) publishing how much Vehicle Excise Duty is collected by local authority area.

Lilian GreenwoodInformation on how much Vehicle Excise Duty is collected by local authority area, is not held. Significant technical changes would be needed to capture and maintain such data and there are no plans to do so.
