To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether her Department plans to require local authorities to amend neighbourhood plans.

Matthew PennycookThe Government does not intend to require local planning authorities to amend neighbourhood plans in the future. Communities will continue to be able to choose whether they review or update their neighbourhood plan.
